Hello Doctor , I am on my 8 months pregnancy and I just came to know that no metals are allowed during c section delivery but I have a permanent retainer which I cannot remove .. Is it ok or do I have to remove it ?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Write Your Answer Here Only if you have any jewelry that is not allowed during the surgery otherwise if nothing else like your retainer need to be removed. Cesarean surgery will not have any scan like x-ray or mri
