Q.

Hello doctor. I am on my 20 weeks of pregnancy. I went for checkup and ultrasound on my 14th week. Reports were ok except my posterior with lower end placenta placement. Now Due to Pandemic I am worried to go out of home for routine check up and tests and ultrasound. Shall I wait for some more time or its emergency to do the ultrasound and checkup ? Kindly suggest me.

A. It is advisable that you get the tiffa scan done around this period Which is done to rule out any anomalies in the baby and it is very important. Low-lying placenta is definitely a high risk factor and you can wait for a week but it is advisable to get it done as early as possible and not delay it furtherWrite Your Answer Here

A. U Should get a check with your gynaecologist wants to have a clarity over it because the doctor must have only asked you to go for a scan so you should be consulting your gynaecologist for the check up of report on it because maybe you’ll have to go for a bed rest or something a little bit but the doctor will advise you better
