hello doctor. Hello doctor my baby was born prematurely at 31 + 3 weeks. her birth weight was 1560 gram now her weight is 4600 gm I am noticing that from the last 30 days she is not gaining much weight I am writing here the weight gain of last four months as she was born on 15th of November weight gain month wise first month-. 450 gram second month - 900 gram third month- 1080 gm 4th month-700 gram on 15th of March weight was 4500 gm and now on 31st March weight is 4600 gram What can be the reason of poor weight gain . what should I do to increase the weight.. she is taking similac neosure. she takes 90 ml at a time 6 to 7 times a day. if I tries to give more she pukes out what should be done.

A. Dear ma’am, her present weight seems to be good when compared to her birth weight so do not worry. Also don’t over feed the formula. Allow your baby to decide how much she wants to feed at a time. Wait for another one or two weeks and if there is no weight gain then please consult your pediatrician
