Q.

hello doctor, for my 8 months old son. I have introduced rice and daal homemade cerelac types, naachani, apple juice(boiled). what else shd I start now? and any readymade cerelac if you can suggest? he also takes top milk Similac advance and breastfeed Majority of times.

A. avoid readymade cerelac. Home made porridges are better than commercial preparations. You can make a variety: sooji kheer, rice kheer, thick soups made from a mixture of pulses, cereals and seasonal vegetables, rice-daal khichdi oats are better.

A. hi.. all good things u r giving to ur baby.. u can add banana small quantity..also moong dal soup.. anaar juice..pear purie..

A. hi please avoid giving commerically prepared food items. prefer to give homemade freshly cooked food items only you can give seasonal veggies (potao, sweet potato , Spinach, Spongegurd, bottleguard, pumpkin ) , fruits (apple ,pear ,peach , papaya, banana, chickoo ) , homemade cerelac with different pulses and nuts,mix veg khichdi, makhana porridge or kheer ,suji kheer , multigrain idli , sheera, rab etc
