Q.

Hello doctor, done anomaly scan today. Placenta position: posterior grade I noted. what happens exactly in this position. what is the position of placenta. does any extra care needed in this placenta position AFI shown - 103.9mm. Is amniotic fluid level is ok or less than the desired level. what is the normal range of AFI

A. well these are all normal finding ok as thats how it is. try to see that you follow all advice. Cut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down.

A. The Placenta is in the upper part of the womb that is what it means .. And for further understanding over these things you should always discuss this report with your gynaecologist in detail and the afi it is perfectly fine it’s not less it’s good but for the previous think you should consult your doctor
