Hello doctor, after my delivery I got my period after my baby was 5 months old and since than it has been irregular. 1st there was spotting only and now after every 15 days I would bleed so heavy that I soak 1 pad per hour and that to full 5 days. what should I do to regulate my period and lessen the flow. m working so its irritating with such heavy flow.

Hi mom in case of irregular bleeding u need to do upt to rule out pregnancy first of all ... if it is negative then u need to consult with your doctor for proper examination and treatment as it can be due to fibroid endometriosis or hormonal imbalance ..

shilpi BhandariMom of 4 children4 years agoA. hello mom there is no doubt that there hormonal changes in the body after the delivery and it takes time to get regular periods but if u r bleeding so heavy then u definitely need to consult with a gynecologist immediately to get urself examined properly
