hello doctor actually my daughter(5 yr) is suffering with eye flu having red eyes,discharge nd swelling in her eyes from last six days we are using eye drops as suggested by doctor but still I feel there is no improvement kindly suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Eye Redness is commonly seen because of some allergic condition , infection or any trauma which needs proper examination. if it is associated with some dieqischarge it could be infection but no self medication should be used.
if the baby is continuously rubbing the eye or there is any swelling it indicates irritation and inflammation for which you need to you get your baby clinically examined so consult your doctor once.
