Q.

Hello Doc .My son is of 16 months old his haemoglobin is just 11 doc advised some iron syrup but he is having loose motions because of iron syrup.He advised to give it empty stomach in the morning.Please advise any other alternative to syrup.Thanks

A. iron syrup shud be given after meals and not on empty stomach...

A. in such a case you can give an iron rich diet and request a doctor to change the medicine For further advice in this regard you can consult your doctor who can do the clinical examination properly which is not possible here to clear all your doubts which will be a better approach regarding this
