Hello Doc...my baby is 1 year 1 month old...I used to breast feed him 5-6 times a day....but recently I am unable to breast feed him as he keeps on bitting me while feeding...kindly tell me what can be the reason behind it or what can be done to stop him from doing that...his appetite has also reduced drastically....kindly suggest what can be done

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Feeding the baby only when they are hungry can also prevent a baby from biting. If the baby is hungry, they will be more interested in sucking milk and less in biting. You can also soothe the baby's gums by feeding them expressed breastmilk popsicles.
