Hello,dear expert Dr Mahesh Patil Neonatologist,Sir please tell me about 100 percent oxygen if given to preterm baby in NICU,what can happen with baby,only neonatologist should reply

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. well. it can cause damage like hyperbaric oxygen. if its preterm. can cause ROP. see only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

Hello Well I am very sure that the doctor that you are looking for apart from the name is not your most of the times you will see paediatrician gynaecologist nutritionist and dentist over here to assist you since it is related to the oxygen level of the child and all these things it would definitely be advisable to consult your doctor on a personal level you have a clarity and understanding over this issue otherwise you can wait whenever the respected doctor would be online they will definitely assist you on your question
