Q.

Hello.. can I give formula milk at night to my 2.5 month old baby..I offer her breast milk and express feeding the whole day but night time she wants more milk multiple times..so can I give formula milk to her so that she can sleep properly..?? I told my husband about giving formula at night but he refusing to give and he is not listening at all.. when my first baby born that my milk production was very very less..so dr suggested to give formula milk that time.. now this time in 2nd baby day time for feeding is ok but not satisfying for me and baby too from last 2 weeks..I am facing difficulties at night but not anyone is understanding my problem... is it wrong to give formula milk to baby???? I am worried plz help..

A. that's fine the first choice is always breast milk but due to some problem if you are giving formula milk then you can go for any brand which is available in the market and all are good but at the same time it is advisable to meet the doctor will tell you which brand would suit your child. when you are switching between any two brands you have to see that it is not causing any digestion problem or gas problem or colic or constipation otherwise you have to change the brand.
