Q.

hello..breast milk is if two types- foremilk and hindmilk. when my child starts sucking , after 10/15 minutes he falls asleep, which means he is getting only the foremilk which is very watery and is deprived of the thick milk i.e. hindmilk which comes out after 10/15 minutes of sucking. is just having foremilk enough for my baby's growth and needs?

A. no both are required in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child d
