Hello All, my 5months old baby boy not doing sound and smile from since a week. sometimes he smile but without sound. earlier he was very active. babies do sometimes like this? is this any abnormal please? Fyi- One week ago baby had a loose motion for 10 days. now he is completely normal but no sound no smile.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. if the baby is not having any dehydration otherwise active nothing to worry. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

Please get the baby valuated by a doctor and follow doctors advice properly. Please do not self medicate the baby. Thanks and take care
