he is not speaking clearly,, some clear words he speaks are mumma , mummy, mum, ruko, chup, didi

A. Hello good morning !! By 2.5 years of age babies speak words and small sentences (joining words ) . If the baby is showing things at home ,animals ,toys and saying their names,calling names,relations correctly(calling mother as mummy ,sister as didi ),speak with baby show things,names and repeat words,small sentences and ask him to repeat the sentences. Avoid screen time ,engage in playing and activities,co playing with kids,siblings help in improving speech. If you observe delay in speech even after speaking and repeating the words then consult a Speech therapist
