Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. for big children it is important to increase the physical activity of the child during the daytime and also see that the child is drinking plenty of water and is having a good diet just before sleep but at the same time the diet should be easily digestible and not vecry heavy diet which is causing more gas formation because that also can lead to digestion problem and that can disturb the sleep.
also it is impcortant to look for any environmental disturbance which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the mattress problem

many different factors that can affect a child's sleep like hunger , teething, stomach pain ,gas ,low hb level , discomfort like feeling too hot or cold , need of diaper change etc
so please check all these.
make sure your child takes food well.
but do not for feed or overfeed your child.
give warm milk before sleep time which will help to make your child sleep better.
