See kids first have to understand that you are addressing them by a particular name in India we call our kids with 10,000 names so they are not very aware about their actual name so just call with one name itself which is the formal name of the child or the nickname that you are willing to use with slowly the child will learn to respond to its name and if not then you can check with the doctor
