A. Pain in your right breast can have several possible causes, ranging from hormonal changes to breast infections or muscle strain. Since you've had a fibroid in your breast for five years, it’s important to monitor any changes carefully. Possible Causes of Breast Pain: ✔ Hormonal Changes – Common before periods or during ovulation. ✔ Blocked Milk Duct (If Breastfeeding) – Can cause engorgement or mastitis. ✔ Fibrocystic Changes – Lumpy, tender breasts due to hormonal fluctuations. ✔ Muscle Strain – Pain due to incorrect posture, heavy lifting, or sleeping position. ✔ Infection (Mastitis or Abscess) – Symptoms include swelling, redness, and fever. ✔ Cyst or Fibroadenoma Growth – If the pain is persistent, it’s good to check if your fibroid has changed. What You Can Do? 🔹 Apply a warm compress to ease pain and swelling. 🔹 Wear a well-fitted bra for proper support. 🔹 Take a mild pain reliever (like paracetamol) if needed. 🔹 Massage gently if breastfeeding to relieve blocked ducts. 🔹 Monitor for lumps, redness, or nipple discharge and see a doctor if any appear. If the pain persists for more than a few days, worsens, or is accompanied by a lump or skin changes, consult a doctor for an evaluation. Let me know if you have any other symptoms!
