Q.
Haii Doctor. my baby have cold and cough. she is 3years old. can we take her to swimming pool to the resorts. is it safe?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antittussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is thgeere paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

If you keep your child into cold water this is definitely going to get aggravated because the temperature of the pool is quite low no it is actually cold it is your choice if you want to take it in it is going to be activated for sure so I thought you get ready to give further medicines to the childWrite Your Answer Here
