Q.

hai sir...at birth my baby's weight was 2.8kg...now she 1year 3months old now her weight is 9.5kg...is her weight normal or underweight...

A. Hi, your baby weighs good, nothing to worry.. you can give variety of homecooked foods smashed roti or paratha, smashed rice, khichdi, pancake, chila, porridge, small and soft fruits cuts or puree, vegetables soup, veg upma, poha, idli, dosa, milk, paneer, milk shakes, nuts and dried fruits, etc. feed baby on regular intervals after every 2 hours gap follow good hygiene avoid force feeding and overfeeding to baby

A. her weight is fine. not too much or too less. as long as baby is active and healthy nothing to worry about weight. you can give mashed egg yolk..about half a tbsp. you can give 1 tbsp banana 2-3 times a week yogurt about tbsp. mashed potato about 1 tbsp 2-3 times a week. you can give some ghee also...about half tbsp...but in two servings. ...not all at once. try any new food in small quantities and gradually increase. preferably give in morning time.
