SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, you need to give basic medicine for three days. Follow the dosage for once in every six hours as prescribed by your doctor for three days. The temperature will rise as the power of the medicine comes down. Wear thin cotton cloth. Avoid thick blankets and thick cloth. And give adequate liquid and keep your baby well hydrated. Take a neat cotton cloth and dip it in the clean water remove the extra water and put on the forehead. Maintain the temperature. After three days if the temperature is still high then you need to check with your paediatrician and then start with the antibiotic.
If it is a normal fever than the fever will come down by the third day. If it is a viral fever then the temperature will increase by the third day also, after that you need to start with antibiotic by consulting with your paediatrician.Write Your Answer Here
