Q.
Hai..My baby is 5 month old now..He makes eye contact but not always smile much... Sometimes he will smile and sometimes not..Also he wont responds to our voices..He will response to toy sounds and unfamiliar voices..Bt not to familiar voices..He wont turn his head towards us when we call him.. is it a problem?Anyone has this experience?Pls reply

Thanks doctor..He will complete 5 month by this week..social smile is there..Bt not always...And most of the time he wont turn his head when we call him..Rarely he will look at us..He follow objects..He play with toys..That all are fine..Is it related to autism? I'm scared and that's why asking..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if the baby is 5 months old and if the baby is not giving proper response and the social smile is not there so you should not ignore consult your doctor at once for a proper assessment of your child
