Hai doctors, my daughter is 20 months old now..she is not yet saying any words like amma..appa...but she simply blah blahh in her own way..she does not respond to her name also...but she quickly respnds to other sounds.. often shows angry...excitement...i am really worried about her..pls suggest anything

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Few children have delay in their speech and it is normal. Few elders suggest to give the child a teaspoon of honey in the mornings for better health and speech. Communicate more with your child, sing and play together. Encourage your child to express even in small words. If you are still concerned better consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice.
