A. It’s not uncommon for babies to be born with natal teeth, which are teeth present at birth. These teeth are often removed for safety reasons if they pose a risk of causing injury to the baby's mouth or if they interfere with breastfeeding. Since your baby is now 15 months old, it’s important to monitor their dental development. Typically, baby teeth begin to emerge between 6-12 months, and it's normal for a child to have a full set of primary teeth by around 3 years of age. If you're concerned about your baby's dental development or if the absence of the natal tooth affects their oral health, it’s a good idea to check with a pediatric dentist to ensure everything is progressing well.
