Q.

Had a blood test for my son including thyroid and he has 5.06 detected. How could we fix without starting on medications for long term? Her mother took thyroid medications during her pregnancy until today. Thanks.

A. What exactly is the age of the baby? Is it the baby four years old or this is a newborn? In case of a newborn baby the levels don’t indicate hypothyroidism yet.If the doctor has confirmed hypothyroidism to the baby then don’t resort to other modes of treatment as once the person gets thyroid it is for a lifetimeWrite Your Answer Here
