Q.

Gud morg Doctor My daughter has completed one month of age. Recently ‌she is struggling to go pooing.. past three days not went. but i can feel that she is trying to go but not going. She is struggling a. lot to go freely.. Kindly suggest what need to do. Is there any syrup to give.. Or is it normal for new born babies.

A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs due to the distexntion of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is cryingx if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.
