Goodmorning mam My daughter is 5 years old. she is getting white discharge through her vagina. Getting white discharge during night time only while she is sleeping from past 1 week daily. (discharge is in light yellow colour picture attached). please respond is it a serious problem mam?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. it can be normal secretions also but if the frequency and the quantity of the secretions are increasing then examination by the pediatrician or a gynecologist is necessary to rule out any local infection

Little bit of discharge can be seen for a girl child for a time from the time of birth so I would just recommend you to keep cleaning that area properly whenever your child urinate and going to washroom and on each also your child from the beginning to clean that area properly with the jet or wipe it properly with the paper and napkins it’s a very common situation to be seen but if the discharge is more than consulting your doctor
