Good morning, we did blood test for my son and his crp is 18.4 and his platelet countis 474. what does that mean. is it a case of concern ( he has cold and cough , Dr told upper respiratory infection) , please help.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. indication of infection in the baby needs proper treatment ok for further advice in this regard you better consult your doctor for physical examination investigations if required then only proper treatment can be given and advise also in this regard

This is mostly due to infection only so the doctor or Vayasu the proper course of antibiotics CRP levels are mostly Hai when a child is suffering with any infection Sai think that’s the only reason as of now further more the doctor would be able to help you properly with that
