Good morning sir ! My son is 1yearc8 month old and suffered from hand foot mouth disease again. Plz suggest some measure to prevent the same as he was suffered from the same disease in mid of September as well.

Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small eruptions may be seen in hands foot face and other parts of the body along with oral ulcerations so gdrive plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydration and maintain a good hygiene . Somee multivitamin syrup along with antihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Wash your hands with soap and water often. Keep your hands away from your eyes, nose, and mouth. Avoid close contact with anyone who has HFMD. Disinfect counters, doorknobs, and other surfaces that people frequently touch
