That’s actually difficult to say why the child is not gaining weight so first you have to see is your child actually eating well or not because that’s first and foremost thing if the child is not eating well then you know why the child is not gaining weight but even after eating well if the child is not gaining weight then there is a possibility of a nutritional deficiency
