Q.

good morning my infant is 6 months old 7 days back he got cough and it was due to dusting of house dr has prescribed atarax clamp and ascoril drops he had an ear infection too for that otogesic drops were given after one week of using antibiotic his cough was less but coughing so went to dr dr told to give atarax and ascoril for 4 days I have given him now he is having less cough buy he is drinking less milk he is active he is not burping easily took to dr he told everything is OK i am worried he is drinking only 75 ml milk for 2 hrs dr has given maxtra and kufril drops pls suggest am not understanding why he is drinking less milk

A. it is quite natural during any infection are any problem baby will be taking less feeding for further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
