Q.
Good morning mam,I am 5th month pregnant.is it common being IUGR during 5th month?I have low lying placenta in nt scan,few days ago technician checked my placenta position if there is any change,in that she said mostly IUGR..can I develop the weight of the baby till delivery? please suggest me madam

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. Depending upon the placenta, it is not possible to say if the baby’s having iugr or not. You have to take high-protein diet on a daily basis as it will help in improving the weight of the baby and consult your doctor and get a scan from Fetal Medicine specialist to know for sure about the baby status.
