good morning madam.i have gestational diabetes .after delivery if it is continuing . will I give breastfeed to my baby

A. Yes absolutely you can breast-feed your baby as long as you want but do inform your doctor that you’re breast-feeding or another you’re going to change the medicationWrite Your Answer Here

A. Breastfeeding after gestational diabetes is safe. Ninety percent of the time gestational diabetes goes away after your pregnancy, but some women may still have trouble regulating their blood sugar for several weeks after giving birth. Breastfeeding actually improves glucose tolerance after giving birth.
