Good morning...Is feeding safe for children post covid vaccination? does it have any long term effect on children? please let us know how safe is covishield for feeding mother

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. As per latest guidelines, breastfeeding mothers can take Covid vaccine - be it Covishield or Covaxin. The breastfeeding mothers can continue breastfeeding even after being vaccinated. There is no need to stop breastfeeding. Vaccinated lactating mothers could help provide infants with antibodies via breast milk. This would help build relative immunity against the virus in these babies.
