Good morning, I am mom of 14months old baby boy, from last day he is suffering from fever gave paracetamol went to his doctor, he suggested few tests in which baby CRP IS 8.9 is that normal what steps r precautions can I take at home for baby and plss tell what caused ti raise his CRP. levels THANK YOU

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. hello parent your kids 14 month old if the child is active when afebrile, it may be due to viral infection which resolves over a period of three to five days. CRP levels varies from 1 lab to other but mostly less than 10 can be considered as negative
