good morning Dr my baby she is 1 yrs 2months old she has vaccine to be done on 5th Nov but due to cold problem she has not yet vaccinate , will it be a problem if we do late

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few daays is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination
if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination
