Q.

good morning doctor. my daughter (8yes old) is suffering from viral fever since 3 days. as prescribed by local doctor I am giving her crocin 650 tablet-1/2 and ziti 100. but the fever is still around 100 with lot of weakness. please advice what should I do

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or anyvf inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
