Q.

good morning doctor. my baby is 2 month old. he didn't suck for breast feeding. so am giving Formula Milk., but his poo is very tight and he is doing vomitting several times after taking formula Milk. please suggest

A. Yes doctor am giving him Bonnison drops but no idea abt the enzytume preparation. please tell me wht should i do

A. Thank you for reply. Yes baby is active and he is doing poo 4 to 5 times daily. just little bit worried abt the constipation and vomitting thats why asking.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzytume preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Hi mom constipation is common in formula fed babies. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise then no need to worry. Secondly little spit up or curd type vomit is normal in babies due to acid reflux in babies which will go with time as the baby grows up
