good evening sir/madam.... my son is suffering from fever ,cold , cough vomitings due to cough many times and waterly motions doctor has prescribed some medicines but temperature is geting 102 with in 3 hrs of given paracetamol... his age is now 19 months can you please suggest the food he is not taking anything except water

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expegkctorant bronchhodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can bej repeated after 6 hours again if required .
