Good evening air, my baby is 3.5 month old. He has constipation and doesn't pass stool since 9 days. He is on breastfeeding. is there any worry

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, babies upto 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric. To prevent this situation you must burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. This really helps in curing constipation and thus releases gas.
