Q.
Good afternoon sir, my child is 1.5 year old , he's not speaking a single word, not even mumma and papa also, what should I do, Sir??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interadction with the child so that he can learn to speak senctences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

need to visit your pediatrician for once.
keep communicating with your child more and more.
play different games like peekaboo, pretended play etc
point out different objects and talk with your child about it.
