Q.

Good afternoon Dr my son 3 Yr 5 month old ,often he get cold.last month he had infection in blood,CRP 66.6. since June he was getting fever twice a month. he was given antibiotics mostly. is it safe to give antibiotics twice a month? few days back he was fine , now again he got cold 8 days past ,its not cured yet. should I give antibiotics?

A. if needed then given by Dr it is important to follow the instructions advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor under the influence of friends and well wishers take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification.

A. good afternoon it is definitely not the best option to give antibiotics so frequently however you don't have much of an option of the child is not feeling well then it is something which is to be used
