But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out .
Antipyretic like g paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful .
Doctor consultation should be dohne if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

If it has already been more than three days then I suggest you get a blood test done for your child to figure out what could possibly be the issue because a lot of times after three days the fever it does not subside would be due to some infection in the bodyWrite Your Answer Here
