its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficiadl.Also colicaid drops can be given.
Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, you should feed your baby every two hours. And must burp him after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. This helps in releasing gas and prevents colic pain.
