Q.

From my baby's birth until now, I have been giving only breast milk, but his weight is not increasing. My pediatrician referred me to a formula milk like Decolax, so I am going to start mixed feeding for my 5-month-and-24-day-old baby this month. However, I am confused about when to give breast milk and when to give formula milk. Can anyone please explain in detail when to give him breast milk and formula milk?

A. Hello good evening !! Yes you can feed both formula milk, breast milk once breast milk after 2-3 hours next feed formula milk and repeat the same. Dont take long gap of breast feeding as it cause lumps due to production of breast milk not consumed and also reduces the milk production (Breast feed works on demand supply the more baby latches the more milk produces.
