frequent back head paining for my kid 5yrs old...2mins only then he is normal..why do I need to take any scan and see

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. there are multiple causes of headache in children and for immediate relief you can give paracetamol which is a good painkiller also. see that the child is consuming plenty of fluids because many times less water in the body can cause headache. the other common causes are nutritional deficiency as well as anemia and decrease sleep and more screen time if going on according to age.
paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day but if the problem is occurring again and again please visit the doctor to rule out any major pathology
whether any scan is needed or not will be decided by the doctor
