Q.
For 6 weeks vaccination, I wanted to get it done via government. The date given to me by the pediatrician was 19th December. When I visited the government centre for vaccination, they told me to wait till 6th January. My baby will be 8 weeks by then. Is it okay to wait for should I better go with private hospital?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there should not be a problem if you postpone it for maximum one month but after that it is not advisable because the child become susceptible to the vaccine preventable disease.
try to get a vaccination as early as possible for first one year to 2 year of age.t
except one or two vaccines almost all vaccine can be given at any age and the tadvantage of the vaccine starts when it is given to the child.
meet your doctor who will tell you which vaccines can be given at this age as well as whether any booster dosage is required or not.

no worries
just keep a track on Vaccination schedule, please don't miss or Skip any mandatory Vaccination
