Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. urinary pattern in small children is totally different. they may pass more than 20 times per day urine also and sometimes they will pass urine again and again in only one hour.
the minimum requirement would be more than 7 times in 24 hours. if it is less give mosre breast feeding or milk and if it is more no need to worry if the child is not having any other complaint.
there is sno problem if the urine frequency is normal and the child is not passing urine at night

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Though the diaper may not be as wet as usual, as long as your baby is peeing every 3 to 4 hours, there is no cause for concern. If your baby who is in the lactational stage does not pee for more than half a day, it is a cause for concern. Your baby may be suffering from dehydration.
