Could be mostly due to a reaction of a insect bite as such, but incase the baby eye has redness and causing discomfort and discharge is also been observed could be infection

This could be even due to mosquito bite we cannot be sure about it but currently you can take some cold pack and then you can keep it onto the affected area and get it checked with your doctor what medicine would be applicable for you to apply because it is on the eyes of the child you have to be very particular with the medicine that you are using to apply the eyes of your child for reducing the spelling
