Q.

Earlier, dr had advised a jaundice test for our baby due to mild yellowing of the eyes and slightly pale skin. However, since then, we have been exposing the baby to morning sunlight regularly, and we have noticed that the yellowing of the eyes and paleness of the skin have completely subsided. Given this improvement, we would like to check if it is still necessary to proceed with the jaundice test, or if it can be considered resolved. Kindly advise.

A. Hello my dear parent! I would still advise you to get the test done to just get more clarification about the levels. Get in touch with your doctor on this matter. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration, and weight gain.
