Q.

During pregnancy,i was suffered from jaundice . sgot sgpt was very high in 4 month. after treatment,i was ok. but now after delivery,doctor said u dnt need to worry about jaundice.again u ll not suffer from jaunfice. m breastfeeding mom. so my doubt is that can i consume desi ghee,panjiri,almonds etc after delivery. i delivered bby through c section. on 22 july. my health is so thin . i lost weight bcz of breastfeeding. my body wants more food ,more calories. i feel hunger after every 2 hours n want high calories food. so what about jaundice after delivery? although m reports was ok after treatment of jaundice in pregnancy mujhe again jaundice hona ka dar to nhi h ,agar m desi ghee ,or desi ghee ki panjiri,almonds consume kru

A. No its not must to suffer jaundice as once it is treated and yes you can have a healthy and strong diet and can have panjiri in moderate quantity and even desi ghee and have more fruits and a nutritious diet

A. Hello dear parent, if your doctor is saying that you are perfectly fine now and you may not have jau dice now then you can start consuming. But start with very little quantity. Do not over do your Desi ghee diet in 10 to 20 days. Go slow, let your body get used to ghee and other rich things. But must ask you doctor again.
